Anna Cullen is a multi-media journalist from north Tipperary.

In 2018, she graduated from the University of Limerick having completed an undergraduate degree in Journalism and New Media. As part of her exchange programme with the University of Limerick in 2017, she spent five months at the State University of New York (SUNY) in New Paltz (upstate New York) studying journalism, specialising primarily in radio and television production.

Anna has been employed by AA Ireland for over two and a half years. Her current role as multi-media content specialist involves writing and copywriting, social media, video presenting, broadcasting and voiceovers. Previously, Anna worked as a researcher and broadcaster with AA Roadwatch, delivering the traffic bulletins on RTÉ Radio 1, 2FM, Lyric FM, Clare FM and Tipp FM.

Anna also works as a freelance newsreader with Bauer Media Audio Ireland on Spin 1038 and Spin South West. This role involves researching and broadcasting hourly news and sport bulletins on-air in a friendly and efficient manner.

Anna has written for RTÉ.ie, IrishCentral, Irish Independent, Limerick Voice, YOU Magazine and The Hot Zone USA to name a few.

In her spare time….

Anna loves reading, going for long walks and of course, chilling with her dog Pixie.
