Looking for a new show to watch on Netflix? Fear not because I have just what you need! Behind Her Eyes, which stars Simona Brown, Eve Hewson, Tom Bateman and Robert Aramayo, is a new British psychological thriller.
The six part series dropped last Wednesday and has already taken the Netflix world by storm. It was created by Steve Lightfoot but is based on the best selling novel by Sarah Pinborough, which was released in 2017. This novel managed to secure its very own hashtag ‘#WTFThatEnding’.
If that alone doesn’t push you to watch this new series, then what will?
It’s based in Central London and follows the story of Louise (Simona Brown), a single mother who begins an affair with her boss, psychiatrist David (Tom Bateman). Louise also manages to be-friend his wife Adele (Eve Hewson) and ultimately becomes tangled in their dark and twisted marriage, filled with lies and secrets.
Neither David nor Adele know of Louise’s relationship with the other, which adds to the drama and suspense as we watch her become caught up with the two.
The series also introduces us to Rob (Robert Aramayo) who is an old friend of Adele’s and appears in her flashbacks. The pair met during their therapy as they both suffered from nightmares.
No spoilers here, but you are certainly in for a treat when it comes to the ending! So grab the popcorn, sit back, relax and enjoy!
